Meets at the call of the Chair.
Committee Objective:
The Chamber’s Ellsworth Task Force is responsible for analysis and initiatives involving military mission and value of Ellsworth Air Force Base/; political liaison with local, regional, state, and national government leaders; compatible land use policies and transportation/economic development related to the base’s continued operations; financial support of the task force; and long term planning involving the base and its personnel. The Task Force promotes the value of Ellsworth AFB as a mililtary installation through proponency at the local, state, and federal leverls to convey importance of the base as a pillar of the West River economy.
