Legislative Issues for 2010 Legislature

1. Support the recommendations of an Interim Committee of the South Dakota Legislature to provide the additional funding (taxes and fees) needed to maintain and construct state and county highways, roads, streets and bridges.

 

2. Support increasing the levels of state funding needed to meet the rising cost of providing a quality K-12 education.

 

3. Support increasing the levels of state funding needed by the state’s Technical Institutes to assist in transforming the state’s economy.
